Re-registration for the 25-26 AY is Closed

Re-registration updates for 2026-2027 AY 

To better support the Student Organizations Team, as well as to encourage timely leadership transitions within groups, the re-registration period will be moved from the beginning of the fall semester to the end of the spring semester. This change will go into effect this April 2026. While we understand this change ill be an adjustment, we appeciate your flexibility as we implement this new timeline. Additional details will be available in March 2026.

All returning student organizations must complete the re-registration process to remain active for the upcoming academic year. This essential step ensures your organization continues to receive support, access to resources, and recognition from the university.

Re-registration consists of three (3) tasks:

  1. Submission of the 24-25 End-of-the-Year Survey. 
  2. Submission and approval of the Re-Registration Form in Yale Connect. 
  3. Completion of Student Organization Leadership Training (SOLT) by your group’s president/chair and treasurer.

Deadline to submit the EOY Survey, Re-registration form, and complete SOLT was August 31 at 11:59pm.

NOTE:

  • Each group must upload an estimated budget for their activities in the re-registration form. Please be sure you have gathered this information before you begin the process. 
  • All groups are marked as “unregistered” in Yale Connect over the summer and will not regain full access to their Yale Connect pages until their re-registration form is submitted. 
  • Only groups who are fully approved will be eligible to apply for university funding. 
  • If your group does not complete the End-of-Year Survey, your group’s re-registration will not be approved.

Follow these simple steps to submit the re-registration form for your group:

  1. Log into Yale Connect and go to your group’s page. 
  2. Click the blue registration button at the top of the page.
  3. Complete the re-registration form and submit. 

The submitter will receive a confirmation email from Yale Connect. Save for your records. Once submitted, your group’s re-registration form will be reflected as “Pending Approval” as we work through submissions. It may take 5-7 business days.  

If you begin the re-registration form but do not submit it in the same session, your group’s status will change to “Pending Approval.” However, it will only be a draft until you officially submit – please make sure to hit submit!

The draft will be found in “My Surveys/Forms” (on the left toolbar) in the Yale Connect account of the student who began completing the form.
