The Office of Student Affairs has created accounts for most student organization leaders already. To log in for the first time, please follow these instructions.
1. Visit the Yale Connect homepage at https://yaleconnect.yale.edu.
2. Click on “Sign in with your Campus ID.”
3. Use your netID to log in.
You may be prompted to create an account. If you see a page that asks you to fill in your information, be sure to complete at least your first name and last name.
When you sign in, you should have access to administrate your relevant student organizations.
To check if you have access to administrate your organization, look at the upper right hand corner of your organization. You should see the “Settings” Option.
If you do not see the settings option, you do not have access to administrate your organization’s portal and submit your re-registration form.
In this case there are two options:
Option 1: If no one updated the YCDO with your new leadership and your old leadership all graduated, your organization will have no current administrators. In that case, click on the “Join Now” button. Then, email email@example.com and CC your student organizations consultant with your request.
Then, provide a description of your position in the organization, check the “I am an officer of this organization” button, and click “Submit Request.”
Option B: If there is currently an administrator of the portal, you will see the “Join Now” button but not the “I am an officer of this organization.”
In that case, type your officer position into the “Note to Administrators” and Submit Request. Then, email firstname.lastname@example.org and CC your student organizations consultant with your request.
Note: the system does not automatically notify our office of a request, so if you do not email email@example.com and your student organizations consultant after requesting administrator access, there will be a delay.
